Boosting Sales with Social Video

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So, what’s video worth? At least double that. When a luxury real estate company came to us looking to turn their 3D renderings, Matterport content, and drone footage into bite-sized mobile videos for Instagram, we knew we could help. One year, 80K views, and a 30% increase in followers later, they’ve been thrilled with the results.

First, we mapped out a detailed content calendar to ensure we didn’t use up all the best content too quickly; the strategy was to keep the audience engaged and wanting more. We cut the 3D footage together with a “less is more” mentality, creating tours that showcased the most interesting, unique details of the product and leaving the rest a mystery that could only be solved by visiting the company’s website. We also made sure to leverage trending audio to increase reach and engagement—but only when it actually fit the content and brand voice. 

Heading into 2023, the company’s sales goal was 120 units with an average list price of $750,000. Thanks to a marketing campaign largely focused on mobile video, they’re already 82% of the way there—with 8 months left to go. Talk about a winning strategy.
